Club career
After joining the Bryne Football club, the player started to impress its fan base and management with his excellent game play. Haaland played for the reserve team Bryne 2 where he impressed scoring 18 goals in 14 matches. This potentially translated into player’s debut into the senior side when he was aged 15. For the senior side, Erling Haaland continued scoring the goals and bagging the assists. He kept on producing outstanding football skills, and by 2017 in Molde brought him Norway’s first league. Haaland finished his first season at Molde with 4 goals in 20 appearances.
After
finishing the 2018 season as the Molde’s highest goal scorer, it became
apparent that the young player was destined for the big stage. After He joined the Austrian side called RB Salzburg though he
had offers from the top tier clubs like Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen. Haaland joined RB Salzburg on January 1 of 2019. Since
joining the club, the player has been phenomenal. Haaland scored his
first Austrian league hat trick against Wolfs berg just a month after scoring his
first hat trick for the club. he joined the German side Borussia Dortmund
on 1st January 2020.
