Carlos and Robinho. He
did not stay in Madrid, however, as his father decided at the time that he
preferred the young prodigy to keep growing up while playing at Santos.

the league's Best Young Player award. he helped Santos claim the league
and Copa do Brasil championships en route to the first of three straight
scoring titles and four straight Player of the Year awards.

He has scored 27 goals from 26 games for PSG, assisting 17 times.
Neymar Jr National team career.
Neymar made
his début for the Brazil Senior team in July, in a friendly match against the
United State. Internationally, Neymar was
considered for the Brazilian side that participated in the 2010 World
Cup in South
Africa, but he was
ultimately not included on the squad. He scored four goals for Brazil at the
2013 Confederations Cup, including one in the team’s 3–0 victory over Spain in
the final, and won the Golden Ball as the tournament’s most valuable player as
well as the Bronze Boot as its third highest scorer
In the 2014 World Cup on home soil, Neymar was expected to lead the Brazilian team to the tournament victory, but that was cut short after he was injured in a quarterfinal match. Brazil went on to be knocked out of the tournament. But Neymar received the bronze boot for being the third highest goal scorer. Neymar was also named to the World Cup All Star XI.
At the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, he led the Brazilian men’s side to its first Olympic gold
medal, scoring the winning penalty in extra time of the final match against
Germany. The
Brazilians again faced high expectations heading into the 2018 World Cup,
but Neymar's return from a broken foot ultimately wasn't enough, as a tight
